The Feel Good File from May 20, 2020

Hey Loves,

It's been a week, right? On the one hand, many of us learned that our kids will not be going back to camp this summer... and while campers around the country might be crying over their s'mores, parents are equally lamenting the closures of this summer tradition. But just in time for peak cabin fever, the clouds (proverbial and literal) are finally parting and we are getting a glimpse of the silver lining coming from this quarantine: More time with our families in the warm outdoors than ever before. While we juggle homeschool vs. no school, WFH or plain-old WTF, we can all agree that the sun will come out tomorrow...

Love tomorrows,

Save tomorrows,

For tomorrows,

This week's good vibes only roundup...

Something to clap for: ‘Collectively We’re Stronger’—The fashion industry's open letter, penned by everyone from Bergdorf's to Nordstrom and your favorite designers in between, pledges to do better: "The current environment... presents an opportunity for a fundamental and welcome change that will simplify our businesses, making them more environmentally and socially sustainable." Sign it here to make your mark.

Something to stay in style: Check out this stylish mother daughter duo who brought their avant-garde take on socially-distanced fashion to the streets of Paris, Gaga-style.

Something to brighten up your wardrobe: According to Google and our entire IG feed of every single momfluencer ever, *tie-dye* is up a whopping 340%. So fun, super easy, and kid-and-quarantine-friendly as heck. Check out our post for natural dye ideas here. Or get in on the trend mess-free with these sustainable Etsy shops.

Something for your kids: Fave natural toothpaste man, Tom's of Maine, is our new nature-craft treasure-trove. Check out these fun ideas for toddler and big-kid play time.

Something to show where goodness grows: PUBLIX is helping solve food insecurity by buying farms' excess goods and donating them to food banks. Huge win for all.

Something to laugh about: Instead of selling lemonade, this young entrepreneur set up a "Drive by joke stand." We would pay way more than $.25 for someone to please come do this in our 'hood!

Something for the animal lovers: The sweetest 13 year old boy is sewing hundreds of bow ties to help pets get adopted. At Tomorrows, we have a special place in our hearts for shelter dogs, and are ready to place our orders!

Something to bring a little rainbow to your life: Make this easy Rainbow Pouring Station for the kids to play with, and take it outside now that it's finally some form of a summer month. Which one? No idea.

Something to rock to: In Westport, CT, the community is spreading kindness through painting rocks and putting them on neighbors porches for the Westport Rocks project. So be like Jenny and bring rocks to your block.
